Thanksgiving

We had a gathering Thanksgiving at Anna's grandma's house this year. It was a smaller group and parts of each side of the family were there. It was a fun, relaxing day enjoying being together and creating memories. We all have so much to be thankful for and FAMILY is top on the list!

Weddings

Coree and Kevin got married in April. It was such a special day to celebrate the beginning of their life together! All of us sisters enjoyed getting down on the dance floor, the best part of weddings.
I had the privilege and honor of giving the blessing in the wedding ceremony of some dear co-workers, Dan and Nicole Pyle. It was so special to share this special day with them too.

Monterey

Anna, Natasha and I took a trip to Monterey, CA in November. Anna and I were going to run in a half-marathon there but we decided to just enjoy the view instead. It was SUCH a beautiful weekend.
We went to Point Lobos National Reserve.
The aquarium was spectacular. We are hoping to make this an annual trip, worth going back for more. So thankful for good friends to make memories with!

Pride and Joy

Conrad was born in March and is such a delight to all who meet him. Chassie loves to watch over him and just be close to him. Conrad is walking all over now and is loving life all the more for it!
Getting ready for Christmas included decking the dog with Christmas Cheer! She tolerates it.
Two of my roomies. Could not ask for better roommates. They both like to run, hike, relax at the park and cuddle!

Running

The year of running! Anna and I completed the Triple Crown, 3 half marathons around San Diego. Anna also ran in the Rock-n-Roll Marathon! We were supported by many family and friends each time.

My 30th Birthday

Well, I have been saying that I wanted to do something really big for my 30th birthday. So, I did! I ran 13.1 miles in 2 hours and 21 minutes. Crazy thing to do on one's birthday but I have never claimed to be completely sane.
August 17th began for me at 4:45 am. Woke up and drove to Shawn's and he took me to meet the shuttle bus that took me and thousands of other racers to the starting line of America's Finest City Half Marathon. It was a beautiful race course and I was NOT ALONE! There were more runners than I have ever run with before (I am not the only one that is crazy).
My loyal fans came out to cheer me on!
Maegan was signed up to run with me but had to postpone her run until next year, after she has her baby!!

From the race I went to Fiesta Island to a Big Dog Adoption event and found a furry friend to call my own.
Her name is Chassie and she is a sweetie!

She is a cattle dog mix and she has a very calm personality so far, at the moment she is asleep at my feet.
She enjoys watching the world go by from our front porch.

All in all it was a VERY full day and I was reminded how good God is to have given me the last 30 years of life and a FULLY 30 years at that.
Thank you to all my family and friends who have been an irreplaceable part of my life. I love you all and am blessed beyond measure.
